even more commentaries

I think the week was good, because we've done some good things. But the journey to Groß Raden was not so good, because I've been there so many times before. I liked my exchange partner, but he was too quiet.
Oliver

I think the exchange was not so good. My exchange partner didn't like me and I didn't like him. I don't want to do something like this a second time.
Malte

I had a lot of fun with my exchange partner, but I thought it sad that the Germans and Danes didn't do so much together. At home alone it was very funny, but I thought it not so good when the exchange partners wanted to go to their danish friends and wanted to sleep with them.
Janine

I was really happy with my exchange partner. I think we got on well together and my family liked him too. I hope he was also happy with us. When we go to Denmark I would like to stay with him.
Maik

I think it was a good exchange and the party was especially good. It was terrible, that some people were impolite.
But I didn't have any problems and I had funny days with my two exchange students.
Armin

My exchange partner was so nice. It was very funny with her and I think she loved it here in Germany and at our place. We had lot of fun, but the museum was so boring. The boys were a little bit crazy but it wasn't that bad.
Nadine

Well, I liked my danish exchange partner, but I think that my family isn't a taxi-company. We planned a lot, but my partner wanted to play footbal every day.
Otto

The danish pupils were a little bit nice. I think it was a good idea with the exchange, but it was not always fun. I don't know if I'll go to Denmark.
Jessika

My exchange partner was crying all the time. We had to sleep at a friend's for three nights. We planned many things we'd have liked to do with her, but she didn't make these things with us.
Lisa

The girl that lived with me was difficult. Another girl was always crying - so the two girls wanted to sleep together in our house. We had a lot of trouble with the girls, because they cried and lied.
Sima

I liked about the exchange that we had lots of fun and that we played football every day in the evening. What bothered me a bit was that my exchange partner said to his danish friends that he didn't like it at my place.

Some more commentaries by the German students

I think it was a good school exchange. The Danish students were very nice to us. We had a lot of fun in this week with them. I hope we'll have a lot of fun in Denmark.
Tim R.

I think the exchange visit was a great idea. We've had a lot of fun and it was very cool. Most of us like their partners and we are good friends now. Maybe we can even go to Denmark in our holidays. That would be super =)
Pauline L.

The exchange was very cool and funny. It was a little bit too short, so you couldn't do enough things with your exchange partner. Most of the students were funny and cool. The projects were a little boring, but for the exchange students it was surely interesting ;)
I'm looking forward to visit Denmark.
Bastian T.

The exchange was very great. It was funny and we learned English. The Danish pupils were nice and we had a lot of fun. The projects were good for the students, so they learned something about Germany. I'm looking forward to visit Denmark. I hope it will be funny.
Marcus K.

The exchange visit

The exchange was really fun. We could find new friends and meet people from other countries. Some have found really good friends and I think many of us will meet the Danish pupils another time after the exchange. A lot of us can't wait to come to Denmark in April. I'm very interested in coming to Denmark, because I have never been there before.
Markus "Bille" P.

I think that the exchange was very good. We had very much fun in this week. Alot of us like their exchange partners. We are all happy about going to Denmark and can't wait.
Doreen P.

I really liked the exchange. It was very funny, and I think we did very cool things together. I think we all got to be really good friends. I'm looking forward to April. I hope we'll have a great time in Denmark, too.
Marie R.

Our first part of the exchange visit is gone and it was beautiful. Everybody was so nice and we did a lot of things. I think everybody will be happy to see each other again in April. It was and it will be a nice week.
Sophie

Our first part was in Kobrow in a little village. We ate pizza, that was funny. On the second day we went in another village: Groß Raden. I think that wasn't so interesting. But the third day in Schwerin was very much fun. In the evening was a little party. On the next morning the Danish pupils went home again. We'll miss them. WE LOVE THE DANISH PEOPLE!!! It was a short but a wonderful exchange visit.
Anna

The exchange was one of the best weeks in my life. I have become aquainted with new persons. We've done a lot of things with our partners and with the other Danish people. And on the last day I didn't want them to leave. I'm really looking forward to the trip to Denmark and I hope this won't be the last time I see the Danish pupils.
Duc

The exchange visit with Denmark was really cool. But I think it was very short. I hope that when we go to Denmark it will also be funny and cool - although this week will probably be short, too. But nevertheless I got many new friends.
Hans J. K.

The exchange was very great. Ther were some problems, but I think the time was ok. We had a lot of fun.
The week with all the Danish pupils was so cool and I think we got on well. When we come to Denmark, that'll be very funny and the best thing we'll see each other again.
Laura B.

The Danish-German exchange
The exchange was from the 20th September 2009 to the 25th September 2009. The Danish students arrived on the 20th at 5pm. When we saww the bus arriving - everybodies hearts were beating very fast and all the German students shouted. Then every day was a really fabulous day. We've made a trip every day, which was sometimes boring, but otherwise exciting! On the last day I had a wonderful evening, with the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. The day they left was a really sad day for me, because now she's gone.
Martin S.

The exchange with the Danish was very nice. I think most of them enjoyed the time in Germany. And I'm looking forward to go to Denmark in April. Because this is a wonderful country with wonderful inhabitants. I would like it if next schoolyear were another exchange with Denmark.
Tim P.

On Sunday I arrived and I was very excited because of the exchange. After some days I think it was really funny. My exchange partner could play computer games really well - so every evening we played.
Philipp U.

It was very funny. The Danish students were friendly and I found a new friend. Some of the Danish students speak German really well. We had a lot of fun.

Some commentaries by the German students

I think the exchange visit was a good experience. I was exciting to see how the Danish kids are. At the beginning I think all of us were a little bit shy and there was a group of Danish people and a group of German people and nobody talked together, but it was getting better. In the mornings we were in museums and made town ralleys. That was sometimes boring, but it doesn't matter :P
In the afternoons we all hung around at the lake or on the football place and every day in the evening we ate pizza and talked. Allthough there were a few problems, the exchange visit was very nice :D
Greetings to all of you and especially to Carolina =)
Janine

Dear Camilla =)
hüglit - pinlilir
I want to sleep, you want to sleep. And if you don't want to sleep, I don't want to sleep!
You decide =) Catha(rina)

I think the week was good and I learned some English. I look forward to go to Denmark.
Joschua

Hello Jeppe,
The exchange with you was funny. The Sunday was very boring, because I didn't know you. But the other time was very good. Now I look forward to April, because I'm happy to see you, your parents and your town - and your dog.
Thomas

The exchange visit was really good. Now my English is very better. I'm looking forward to see you all again.
Guido

It was a very interesting experience. It was not very easy to speak English, but it was a good excercise. And funnier than school =) I'm looking forward to see Denmark.

The Danish people came on Sunday evening and were in Germany for one week. It was a funny time with exchannge partners and so on. We were in Schwerin, Kobrow and Groß Raden. On Friday morning the Danish boys and girls went home with the bus. It was a good time. And we hope that we'll have a good time in Denmark, too.
Jacob

It was a nice time. We learned a lot more English. Sometimes it wasn't so good with some pupils. In the afternoons we did something with friends or made a trip with our parents. All in all it was ok.

I think it was a great experience for us and I am very happy to visit Denmark in April.

This week was very exhausting. But I think it was an experience. It was funny although there were problems.
I'm looking forward to go to Denmark.

I really liked this exchange. I think the students are very different, but that's what I liked.
We've had fun and I'm llooking forward to come to Hjorring.
- And yet I know that all these people liked pizza!... :)
And that's for Pernille:
Hey Pernille! I really like you and think you and your friend are FANTASTIC and FUNNY ...
P.S. I like steps! :)
- Ja ja lebbe!!! xD - It's a joke!
YIPPI YEAH
Pauline

I was a very funny week, because we understood each other very well and we made good activities with the Danish pupils after school. It was an exhausting, but funny week. I hope we will have a super week in April, too =)
Christoph Selig

I think the exchange was an experience for everyone. We had a funny week, maybe it was a little bit exhausting. But I liked it and I'm excited how it will be in Denmark.

I write someting about the exchange programme. On the first day (Monday) we were at the mayor of Sternberg and then we did a town ralley.
On the second day we went to Kobrow to the museum.
On Thursday we went to Groß Raden and had a party in the evening.
Friday morning the Danish people went back home.

I think the exchange was very nice. Although I was a bit shy, I had a good time with my partner. I think the programme was boring, but the time after school was fun. I enjoyed the party on Thursday.
Greetings to all the Danish people and especially Cecilia
Marie =)

Time to say goodbye

So now they are gone and tedious school starts again. Oh no, in ten minutes we have to write a Chemistry test. What a bother - we didn't have time to learn :-(

Some German students would have liked to go with the Danes there and then.

But first they need to pack their luggage in the bus again.
The bus driver also wants to go home.

Time to say goodbye. It's eight o'clock and the Danes are all ready to go.

The fourth day

In the evening we had our farewell-party - eating, dancing, talking, just having fun... and later on some even tried to sing ;)
It was just a shame that our caretaker stopped our party abruptly, because he wanted to close the school.

Group III in Kobrow

grinding wheat to bake bread in the old ways

really tired after walking for so long XO

Group II in Groß Raden

looking at the palace garden

Group I in Schwerin

And again actually the same programme, just others doing it.

The third day

Then going home with the boat.

Groß Raden

Kobrow

Schwerin

On the third day the first group went to Groß Raden, the second to Kobrow and the third to Schwerin.

The second day

Group I went to Kobrow. There they looked at old carriages and old tractors and later on baked pizza.

Group II went to Schwerin. They visited the castle and the cathedral and of course they did a little shopping.

Group III went to Groß Raden to an open-air museum of an old village. This was quite a long way.
On the second day we divided the students into three groups.

The first day in Sternberg

In the afternoon, the students could choose between aerobics, football, volleyball or pottery.

The teachers were looking at the town, too.

The students visited our church and climbed up the tower, where they could enjoy the view.

Afterwards the students had lessons and then we all walked to the town mayor of Sternberg, where we started our town rally.

The day started with the choir singing and our principal giving a speech.

Arrival

On the other side we tried to find the right students - so that everybody would have their right partner. I hope everybody is happy tonight. Sleep well X-O
I know, I'm tired.

On the one side the Danish teachers tried to sort the students.

Here at last. Now the sorting could beginn.

All our hearts missed a beat, but we were all happy :-D

We are waiting patiently for our Danes to arrive.
5 o'clock they are here. Everybody is very excited.

Profile

It is time for you to write something about yourselves. For that purpose we have created a file. You have to open it on a computer where the programme Adobe Reader is installer. You fill in the form, print it out and give both pages to your teacher. Please note that everyone will be able to read the first page. The second page is only for the teachers. About smoking: The important thing for us to know, is whether you or your parents smoke inside the house. If that is the case, you must write on page 2. If not, it isn't that important to us.

The Danish students have to do this as soon as possible.

Your teacher can show you how to find the file.

Our surroundings

This school is in the southern part of the town. When we go up to town we pass supermarkets, some filling stations, a couple of pet shops and the big hospital.
In the middle of the town is a new shop centre called “Metropol”, also including a big, new library. Young people like to meet in the centre.
There are many schools in our town including high school (Gymnasium) and University College, where students get an education as school teachers, teachers for young children or study to be a nurse.
Round the school are many streets and roads where the schoolchildren live with their families.
Our town is right in the middle of the Northern part of Jutland, up to the North. You can go on bike to the seaside which is 12 - 20 kilometres away, so it is useful to be a good swimmer when you live up here.
Try to “Google” Hjørring, Denmark and Nordjylland and you will see for yourself.

Our spare time

In our spare time, we like to play football. We also like to play computer and we like to listen to music. Sometimes we go downtown to do some shopping. We like to watch television. On Saturdays we drive in Krumme's little train (the local "lunatic"). In the summer time we often go to Fårup Sommerland - a big amusement park. We also like to go to the beach to bath and work on our tan. Those who have a trampoline, also jump on that a lot.

Our class 8.2.
Hello we are the class 8.2. from Germany. We live in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. There is a beautiful landscape with lots of lakes. We like the nature and sports. In our class there are 17 pupils. But unfortunately we are more girls than boys. 11 girls and 7 boys. Our class is very crazy and jolly... =) We like meeting friends in our freetime and having fun and party. Some of our pupils are editors in the school magazine. So we like writing and making investigations. We hope you will feel great, when you come to Germany and we think we will have a great time together...
