Our surroundings

This school is in the southern part of the town. When we go up to town we pass supermarkets, some filling stations, a couple of pet shops and the big hospital.
In the middle of the town is a new shop centre called “Metropol”, also including a big, new library. Young people like to meet in the centre.
There are many schools in our town including high school (Gymnasium) and University College, where students get an education as school teachers, teachers for young children or study to be a nurse.
Round the school are many streets and roads where the schoolchildren live with their families.
Our town is right in the middle of the Northern part of Jutland, up to the North. You can go on bike to the seaside which is 12 - 20 kilometres away, so it is useful to be a good swimmer when you live up here.
Try to “Google” Hjørring, Denmark and Nordjylland and you will see for yourself.

Our spare time

In our spare time, we like to play football. We also like to play computer and we like to listen to music. Sometimes we go downtown to do some shopping. We like to watch television. On Saturdays we drive in Krumme's little train (the local "lunatic"). In the summer time we often go to Fårup Sommerland - a big amusement park. We also like to go to the beach to bath and work on our tan. Those who have a trampoline, also jump on that a lot.

Our surroundings
Close to our school there are a lot of lakes. If the weather is good you can go swimming or paddle with a boat. The town itself is a very beautiful town with an old middle-age town wall.

Our class 8.2.
Hello we are the class 8.2. from Germany. We live in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. There is a beautiful landscape with lots of lakes. We like the nature and sports. In our class there are 17 pupils. But unfortunately we are more girls than boys. 11 girls and 7 boys. Our class is very crazy and jolly... =) We like meeting friends in our freetime and having fun and party. Some of our pupils are editors in the school magazine. So we like writing and making investigations. We hope you will feel great, when you come to Germany and we think we will have a great time together...
